Pros

Coworkers are generally friendly. My manager was great. There is an onsite cafeteria, and your food comes out of your pre-tax income.

Cons

The IT department just laid off 65 people. They let the most junior people go, pretty much anyone with less than two years with the company got cut. There was one girl on the team who put in 5-10 hours of unpaid overtime every week, had a great GPA from a top college and they gave her the axe. The bottom line is that there is NO opportunity of advancing your career at Quad in IT. The company went public and made a bunch of bad acquisitions that have come back to bite them and the workers are suffering. Run far away.

Good benefits, rank and file are good people

Cons

Senior management is not trustworthy. They promote publicly that we're all one big happy family, but they act the opposite. If you worked for one of the companies they acquired you're treated like a second class citizen. They make everyone where these stupid machine shop uniforms even if you work in the office.
