If you want to wear a uniform like you work at McDonald's then this is the job for you. Oh, you're probably better off working at McDonald's. Really!

Cons

Forced to be on call 24/7. What about "The Company with a Soul"? Quad is SOUL LESS. Hippocrates and liars. Shame on you.

Pros

Generally speaking, the management wants to treat the employees fairly. But, It's dependent on the individual lead or manager as to whether that happens or not. It does offer advancement for those that are willing to work for it. It's an opportunity for people who might not be able to get ahead otherwise because of formal education requirements.

Cons

Quad is trying to grow by acquisition. That means after a new company is acquired and integrated, consolidation will occur. The closures could occur at almost any of the facilities. and because of the volatility of the situation, even long term Quad employee jobs are not safe. The printing industry is probably not a good choice if you have other options.

Untrustworthy PROMISES Withheld paychecks and travel reimbursement Horrible Schedule Travel Arrangements include 2 star flea bag MOTELS Last Minute Schedule Changes Lack of Respect from Employers This company hired me for a position that was reorganized due to QUADMED being FIRED by WAL-Mart. Although Wal-Mart offered a position, the company then reneged on all promises and withheld two final paychecks and reimbursement for travel of over $7000.00. LIARS.
