Pros

The initial onboarding process and introduction to the company were impressive, showcasing a strong company culture and setting the expectation that professional development would be a continuous and integral part of the experience.

Cons

Despite setting high expectations for a newly established office, the company failed to deliver on its promise of professional development. Within my first 45 days, they let go of our office manager, who was responsible for implementing the training. By 60 days, the assistant manager and several team members were also let go. Just 90 days in, I was dismissed as well, with the reason being an error on a project I was still learning to do. The lack of consistent training, due to the revolving door of temporary trainers after our office manager's departure, contributed to my insufficient preparation.

Pros

The coworkers I had here were extremely nice and overall welcoming. The job itself is something new most days, which I enjoy. Always something to learn and always resources around you to help. Most of my co-workers had over 10 years of experience, so lots of knowledge around you. Good for an entry-level job.

Cons

Management treats everyone outside of management as a lesser. The idea that the business is becoming a "marketing experience company" is half-baked and is purely for investors to not run away. The company is extremely outdated and has failed to adopt updated management styles. As more people retire, jobs aren't replaced or even filled in, work just gets distributed to the rest of the non-management workers. Not a lot of room for growth, lots of managers are brought over from companies they buy out reducing your chances even more. Management lacks knowledge about the job itself, and most likely couldn't do their employee's jobs for a day. This put me in a spot where I often communicated with a VP because three people in between us had no idea what the original ask meant. They send out surveys to workers, only to then try to justify the poor results and ignore larger issues completely. You can tell the executives are all "Yes-men" who would never dare speak up to the CEO. The departments that make all the money to fund whatever "creative agency" they like to create a few times a year get ignored and kills morale.
