      do have plenty of days off in slow season. good retirement,

      Cons

      uneven hours can get 80 one week then 24 next hard to get a handle. insurance costs are going up and coverages are being reduced every year

      Pros

      The employees were great to work with and were always there for me if I needed Assistence on anything. The people are friendly and very professional and knowledgable when it comes to thier jobs. The management and supervisors are great and very fair to all of the employees. Everyone is motivated and executes their jobs with out having to be told or supervised.

      Cons

      Their will always be challenges in any job, It is always a challenge to manufacture the highest quality product. The employees of Quad Graphic meet that challenge head on and always succeed in proucing a very high quality product.

      Industry stuck in old ways

      Pros

      People seem to strike a solid work/life balance. Plant is clean, people are friendly if you don't try to improve anything. Everyone wants to do their job and go home.

      Cons

      No leadership or vision. Since the founder's son took over the company has gone down hill. New management doesn't know how to tap into the wealth of knowledge of experienced pool of unmotivated people. The print industry is changing and I don't believe quad graphics is going to survive with their current vision.
