Pros

Large IT presence with opportunities in all disciplines. Good Health and profit sharing (after a defined number of years) 401k with contribution. Human resources is still employee focused

Cons

Not structured for a distributed workforce, rely heavily on Face to Face in person meetings. Work breakdown structures and project planning is not standardized and communication, action items, Change management and milestones suffer because of it.

Not the company they used to be!

Pros

Great employee programs, training, decent benefits, family holiday and summer parties, 401k contributions, profit sharing.

Cons

If you're not one of the original Quad employees (prior to the Worldcolor acquisition) making inroads and becoming part of the team is tough. You'll always be an outsider. You'll report to a leader that is remote, not your local plant leader. Culture is very "cult" like, kind of strange. Most plants acquired that aren't the original Quad plants are either closed, being closed, or will be closed. The company has eliminated a lot of strong printing talent rather than finding ways to repurpose and hold onto that talent - their loss.
