      Pros

      Overall benefit package is second to none,

      Cons

      Long shifts, mandatory overtime in addition to four twelve hour days, shift they give you is not guaranteed. They overwork the talent they have.

      LEAN initiatives were a double edged sword.

      Pros

      The work I did was diverse, challenging and fulfilling to me. In concept, the LEAN initiatives were helpful but getting them to work was another matter entirely. The company loved to spend money on equipment but never could find money to hire a higher skilled worker.

      Cons

      I was publicly encouraged to give suggestions to improve my division and privately admonished. It's a strong corporate environment and leadership is used to doing things a certain way and when a new idea is proposed it was challenged in a negative way.

      Great place to work if you have no ambition

      Pros

      If you have no ambition, this is the place for you. The top performers are worked hard and long hours, while the majority put in the minimum effort. Benefits are better than average given the current economy.

      Cons

      Compensation is generally lower than market. Managers have been known to deny vacation requests without cause or explanation. Uniforms are mandatory for all employees.
