Pros

Location, facilities, stock going up, free pop

Cons

Experience largely depends on the team. On my there were lots of pressure, overtime (even over night) is expected and implied. People are treated like slaves. Morale is very low, many members of the team H1Bs that have no choice but to shut up and work. Management does not seem to care about the work life balance of its employees.

Pros

They do provide great benefits

Cons

When you have a medical condition that requires consistent accommodations expect it to be challenged. They will fight you until they are able to terminate you.

The worst employer of all time.

Pros

Health insurance is very good. Nice facilities including exercise rooms. Internal clubs formed by employees for special interests and hobbies. Cutting edge technogy for some lucky few.

Cons

My experience at Qualcomm was extremely negative. The main problem was most of my technical leads were inexperienced and untrained as leads, were not clear on their expectations, were unhelpful technically, and were excessively critical. Several of them were literally the worst leaders imaginable. I was not given time or resources necessary to learn new technologies before being expected to perform on them, and management was unsympathetic for my attempts to seek help. There was no work life balance. I worked extremely long hours without receiving even a 'thank you' in most cases. While there are some opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies, many if not most positions involve maintaining/porting existing/old poorly documented fragmented code.
