Pros

Interview process was relatively short

Cons

- Offered a lower starting salary than they advertised and refused to negotiate - Job listing advertised additional compensation in the form of bonuses and commissions. This was not in the offer letter, and when brought up I was told they hadn’t established the compensation structure yet and they would have to see - Position was advertised as remote, told this wasn’t the case after being hired - Had to email the CEO the day before I started to find out where to report, since this was never communicated - Not only was the position not remote as advertised, it was a 30 minute commute. This was never mentioned once during the interview process. - Laid off after exactly 2 weeks. My direct report told me they were going to do it by email, but he found that disrespectful and scheduled a meeting with me. Told me they were “restructuring the organization” and eliminating the position. During the interview, the CEO made it a point to let me know that they were looking for someone who could commit to the role long-term. Interesting experience to say the least.

Pros

You get thrown into managing several small networks. This leads yu to learn a lot of new things. The pay is good for the area.

Cons

Having so many networks to watch over and support can be pretty stressful. Not a great place for people with ADHD or similar disabilities. Benefits aren't great. While the pay is good for the area, it's substantially less than the other businesses of the same kind in that area.
