Entry level tech turned Project Lead

Pros

At QualityLogic you get the fun, hard working atmosphere of a small company with a tight-knit team, while also having the benefits of a corporate structure (bennies!) at the same time. I've enjoyed my time here from my first days as an entry level test tech all the way to my current title as a project lead. I will be staying with QualityLogic for a long time to come, because this company definitely gives back as much as you give to them. If you take care of them, they will make sure they take care of you.

Cons

Sometimes there is mandatory overtime, and sometimes there will be quiet periods where there is less work. Layoffs do happen as is inevitable in this industry. However, the company tries to ensure that the people who have a good work ethic and show initiative to always do their best will stay working even when times are tough.

Pros

QualityLogic is a smaller company with a tight-knit management group that has genuine concern for all who work here. The company strives to promote from within and rewards individuals who are willing to go above and beyond at a sustainable level. There are opportunities to advance if one is prepared when said opportunities arise. Management makes sincere efforts to work with individuals on a personal level as well as in a team role. The company employs a very diverse group of people with varied skill sets that make the day to day work activity very interesting. The work atmosphere is fairly laid back as is the dress code. Employees have a genuine respect for one and other and are willing to help each other out which fosters a good team dynamic.

Cons

No real cons with company. The crying babies in the office next door can be alarming at times but that is hardly QualityLogic's fault.
