* Interesting problems to solve
* Lots of data to deal with
* Really smart people
Cons
* Too many layers of management, territorial managers
* Little room for growth
* Too much emphasis on hiring people, but not caring about people who are already there
* Incompetent people with loud voices get further
* Little interest/apprecation for trying out new things
A great place to work at. A lot of opportunities to grow and contribute, and a lot of challenging work on a day-to-day basis. Smart and pleasant people around.
Cons
The company grew at the rapid rate and there's a bit of uncertainty in the company goals and directions, as well as a lack of clearly defined roles.
The people are a lot of fun and the work is very interesting. I've learned an incredible amount there, and feel like I'm meaningfully contributing to the products. The scale of the problems you get to tackle are enormous, and you can quickly get complete ownership over the development of major features. The food is good, and it's fairly easy to maintain a good work-life balance.
Cons
It's online advertising, you're not exactly curing cancer.
