Fantastic company working on the bleeding-edge

Pros

- great, smart, helpful coworkers - amazing technology being developed by brilliant minds - startup work environment where you can have a lot of autonomy in your role

Cons

- growing pains as with all startups - large geographic spread can make you feel disconnected from your team, although people do a good job of staying connected via Slack/Teams/etc. - career trajectories can be a little fuzzy. really on you to chart your own path

Working on cutting edge technology is very interesting and rewarding. There is a lot of opportunity to make an impact and management listens to everyone's opinion. The company actively works to keep employees happy with frequent lunches and activities to reward progress.

Cons

There's the typical growing pains of a new company.

Good work-life balance but poor leadership and loyalty

High Tech company. Good work-life balance.

Cons

1/10 for loyalty. After Being with them for nearly 7 years, they shut down the Cyber Security department, makeing the entire team redundant. Firstly, a silly business decision in this time of Quantum Origin and PQC. Failed by poor leadership, poor management and poor foresight. Poor and blinkered vision. Secondly, zero compassion, zero appreciation for loyalty. The department head engineered his own promotion, and then, from his pedestal, sunk his own ship. Beware of the Applications Group.
