Pros

Great people, GREAT people that work here. The culture is the best part of this company. It has legitimately good solutions but need some updating and R&D to catch up to competitors.

Cons

Under new management that seem to be making things much worse instead of better overall. Constant changes, changes that seemingly make zero sense. Execs that don't understand the job of the "boots on the ground" people, but act like they have all the answers. Maybe will come good in the future, but it doesn't really appear so from the inside. Doesn't pay as well as other software companies.

Pros

Supportive Leadership: Quest has a leadership team that is approachable, open to feedback, and genuinely interested in employee growth. Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and a healthy remote culture make it easy to maintain work-life balance. Strong Product Portfolio: The company has a well-established suite of enterprise products, especially in data protection, identity governance, and database tools like Toad and Foglight. Employee-Centric Culture: Managers invest time in 1:1s, career conversations, and mentoring. There’s a strong emphasis on collaboration and team culture. Stability: Being a long-standing name in the software industry, Quest offers the stability of an established firm with the agility of a mid-sized company.

Cons

Internal tools and processes can sometimes feel a bit outdated, though there’s ongoing work to modernize. Cross-team alignment can be challenging in a globally distributed setup.
