Pros

NONE, I was lied to about the salary at my University Job fair, and was told it was 56k a year, then I got through orientation and found out it was less than McDs pay for clerks/associate as well as the low hourly wage, horrible set scheduling 46hrs+ weekly, terrible treatment, little help, poor training, and dishonest and manipulative personnel manager from the Charlotte/Rock Hill Region corporate office. Horrible benefits, no safety, no rest.

Cons

46+ Hrs weekly mandated, horrible hourly wages, horrible schedules, poor management, poor training, a dishonest company that tried to belittle my safety and security, you are forced to work the Third shift on your own with no protections, terrible company, poor benefits, very stressful work environment, highly do not recommend at all.

Pros

As a maintenance tech here you are required to work on EVERYTHING in the stores. Routers, switches, computers, toilets, dishwashers, walk in coolers, Roof top hvacs. That list is an example of the variety of equipment, so that being said you'll never get bored working on just one thing. You can also work as many weekend days and hours as you like. In ATL you are actually scheduled one of the weekend days every week. If you like to drive an hour plus to work and home everyday to have quiet time, this may be the job for you. You clock in wherever you are told to start your shift, and you get to clock out before you make the trip home! Don't fret though, you may be one of the lucky second or third shift employees so you'll miss typical rush hour traffic. Free fountain drinks are great!

Cons

Management in ATL are great people and great bosses, but they have to do what corporate implements. That's the entire problem with this job!

Pros

Team members have to be the only thing that makes QuikTrip a good place to work. Other then that there's not much.

Cons

Throughout 2020 and 2021 QT has put lives on the line by continuing to repeat the same canned line... If store employees can't work from home you can't... Well this has cost many employees and/or their spouse to take ill and in some cases die... After the mask mandate was over QT Corp doesn't require them. Management is constantly getting shuffled making it very hard for employees to have a clear path forward(specifically IT) IT Infrastructure is archaic. SQL servers don't even have logging, sys admins are constantly making changes to servers and netscalers without informing other teams of what they are doing. Permissions are constantly being lost due to changes being made with anyone's knowledge. The people who have been here for years don't even try anymore, it's just a place to retire because LTI and 401k are decent. And to be honest those benefits are just a trap to keep you here, not make you want to do a good job. Nepotism is on full display here. Avoid this place if you actually care about the quality of work you produce. They will deplete you F's given in no time.
