Pros

Great bonuses Unlimited overtime if you wanted it

Cons

At night you are the only person in the store. After being robbed, I expressed to my supervisor that I would like to be sent home since I no longer felt safe at that location. Supervisor told me that they couldn't let me leave, but instead sent someone of the EXACT SAME POSITION as me to come join me at that location. When I left that morning, I found that my car had been broken into as well. I was constantly sexually harassed by customers, had men follow me around the store, call the store phone to ask for my personal information, wait outside for my shift to end to try and follow me. When I expressed my discomfort with these situations (and even requested to not be sent back to stores that had a lot of men doing this) I was told that if I felt uncomfortable I could just ask the men to leave, and if I felt threatened, I could press my buttons, but they never did anything to /actually/ help me. Often a massive workload for one person to finish in a night, and some of the managers get so upset if they find a single thing wrong or unfinished in their store. Managers also often hold you over to complete what you had been unable to get to throughout the night. Getting promoted is nearly impossible -- I saw countless people "pass the interview" for promotion while I worked there, which basically meant the promotion would happen.... eventually. The people who actually received said promotion were few and far between -- I think I saw maybe 10 or so get actually recieve their promotions during the near year I worked for QT.

Pros

Nice paycheck + occasional bonuses Decent benefits for full time Friendly coworkers / managers

Cons

Some bad coworkers / managers Taking out lots of gas station trash Customer service / angry customers No compensation for mileage working employee relief program On your feet for 10+ hours five days a week Bad locations As Night Assistant ERP, often working alone in sketchy or unsafe areas, sometimes received harassment from customers. Some locations did not have enough staff to handle customer traffic and also keep up with the store. Sometimes sent very far away from home, made me late for my morning class on occasion. Often could not walk at the end of the night due to standing and running for 10+ hours, would literally limp from my car to my apartment.
