Ten hour shifts sometimes longer with no breaks. No food breaks, no sitting breaks. You can eat whenever you 'find time', you can sit down when you go to the bathroom. This kind of thing isn't a terrible thing for everyone but after doing it for six years, it already has taken a toll on my body and mind. You have to also depending on which store, deal with the worst people as customers. They steal, cuss you out, etc. Which is what led me to quitting. Got tired of dealing with terrible people making me feel unsafe after getting things stolen in front of me/ cartons of cigarettes snatched from my hand.
