Pros

- the pay is what makes it worth it -you get to be around clerks and create a great bond with each other

Cons

* Managers expect you to work nonstop like your a robot * How come we don’t get or have scheduled breaks, it is mandatory to have breaks if you want your employees to be able to work all day * Having employee discounts would be beneficial for giving an incentive to stay for the company * Management needs to be worked on…one persons fault creates a ripple effect For everyone * Weekend warriors need to have vacation time as well…wdym I can’t take two weeks off when I’ve been working for the company continuously for two years, I have never called out or missed a day of work * Apparently weekend warriors at my store are cleaning the ice cream machines when we don’t even have that under our responsibilities * Why not put a chair in each of your stores…for the elderly and people with problems (for our managers and employees) * There is a fine line between managing and Micromanaging * How come there isn’t workers compensation for an employee who * And please…the pastry bulk is such a waste. You’re losing so much money on this one * Also when you plan on making new items for the kitchen menu let couple people and more variety of ages taste the foods…some of those items are diabolical…like the brisket Mac n cheese and the Italian pizza…like what is that * And just a concerning thought …why don’t we do some all the food we have been throwing away…it’s just sad to see so much food being wasted and thrown away * And if you can employee everyone just ensure you can schedule appropriately to where they can get the hours they need * This flex thing is crazy by the way…I’ve lost so many good friends with this…and on top of that yall cut their pay…that was wild * This is me just saying, when the Audit comes around everyone is as tense as ever the tensions felt in the room…and they take their own frustrations out on others like pls I get it your stressed but don’t take that out on others * And if you got emotional managers and they have a meltdown because they didn’t get their partial be mature and not take that anger out on the clerks they didn’t do anything wrong * Put the partials back in, what if it’s an emergency and they have to leave * For the NAs give them another person to work with both for safety and social reasons * And if they are alone, you have to give them something that they can use for their protection * Put some trust in your employees… * If someone steals something we should be able to stop them from doing so * Hire workers and managers that are kind, mature, competent for their profession * Bigger bonus incentives * If something is selling good get more of it don’t stop the product and double prices on other things * Add another person in the kitchen * Need more people for coolers * Soft warm gloves would be appreciated * For the clerk when they first come in a training, they are already overwhelmed. Don’t make it more stressful for them meaning they already know there’s so much pressure for them. People are watching them doing all sorts of stuff so make it a nice good happy environment and if they’re a clerk trainers that are strict and yelling all the time be mature understand that they’re just starting off and if you can’t do it, don’t do it * Also, when do we meat trays? Does it really matter how I cut it? Aren’t y’all supposed to like have a way to ensure that bones don’t get into the meat in the meat. * Also just because the store is over in hours because of scheduling doesn’t mean you can use a clerk to cut their hours to make it up for it, that clerk depends on their hours to pay for their life. That’s on the store not the clerks. * We had a manager asking me advice on if he should cut hours off of one of our clerks to get the store back on track… I know why he asked so that when he gets called out for it he can blame it on me, but I told him that’s illegal and he’s not even supposed to be doing that in the first place and told him that that clerk needs her hours so don’t do it…and I’m not gonna do my own coworker wrong like that like if we wants to cut their hours ask them if they want to leave early give them the option…btw he (manager) ended up leaving early * It’s summertime and the ice cream machine needs constant attention so if there was a way for the QA to come more often then the company would get less complaints * Having some background music even if it’s the radio is helpful for everyone, pls take into consideration

If you're not willing to adapt to the hands-on, efficient work environment, this job may not be for you.
