Pros

QuinStreet is a young company (around since 1999) and has an entrepreneurial vibe. Iteration around new initiatives is rapid, and projects are evaluated and dropped quickly if they do not add value. There is no hierarchy in getting the job done, and I deal with individuals above and below my pay grade on a daily basis. There is a definite hierarchy when it comes to responsibility and the senior people are the clear decision makers. People who just "do their job" do not thrive at QuinStreet. Employees who fit well with the company culture, do very well. There is a lot of freedom and flexibility to try new ideas. For individuals who love taking on the next new and exciting challenge, and who don't mind being asked to do something not in the original job description, QuinStreet is the perfect place to work.

Cons

All the above. The flip side of entrepreneurial is ad hoc and organic. This can sometimes be frustrating. It would nice to see some projects through to the end, even if it is not obvious immediately how they add value. The way that decisions are made can have the effect of disempowering lower level employees. QuinStreet is a young company and is goes through the growing pains of any company that started small and has grown rapidly. The systems and processes take a little while to catch up. Not really a con, but anyone expecting a job description that actually means somethine, should probably go elsewhere.

Pros

Great people, excellent training, great training and advancement opportunities. I emerged from QUinStreet a more capable and valuable team member.

Cons

Expect to work hard. You will be expected to deliver results. Key performers will be given great opportunities but it is not a place to coast.
