Pros

Free snacks. The pay was fair.

Cons

Turnover of upper management leading to limited advancement for team members. Company speaks of 'promoting from within' but will usually hire from outside for lead positions, leading to an interesting situation: team level management/directors often have no idea what or how their team is supposed to do, but who can sell themselves as experts in whatever position they seek. Until it is necessary to produce results on their own merit. Add to that a corporate affection for the 'next big thing' - usually a few years too late (such as 'open office' environments - implemented AFTER big tech had found them non-consequential productivity wise).

Pros

Since starting at RGB over 5 years ago, I have had so many opportunities to learn and grow. I've worked for companies that are very large down to smaller family owned and this size of organization has been my favorite. I can drive change and live out ideas without cutting through layers of red tape. I also really enjoy the people I work with, which makes work a lot more enjoyable. It's encouraging to be around people who want to win together.

Cons

While fast paced is majorly a pro, sometimes it can be a con. The company is in a big transition and on a path to growth so with that comes some speed bumps and growing pains.

Pros

Slipper President is a terrific leader & visionary Sales has key responsibilities including dealing with all issues, there is very little support on confrontations so you really have an opportunity to execute how you want to execute if you like that type of responsibility

Cons

too many unskilled or qualified employees in key positions within the company company spends too much time reacting vs being proactive marketing at this company is non-existent company in many ways is a rudderless ship that does a ton of problems. decision making is excruciatingly slow - almost mind numbing -ultimately it feels like most actions are forced actions vs making a decision
