Not a good place to work

Pros

Relaxed environment most of the time. Unless management thinks something is urgent and don't give you a reason. There's a $50 (before tax) annual bonus and weekly paychecks.

Cons

Lot of Cons of working here. Software development is done in worst possible method. No real respect to employees. It is a echo chamber with the management. No modes of communication to express ideas or do good work. Add the strong religious undertones to the list.

Greed

Pros

Your Average LTL Carrier. Family owned company. The executive team as you would imagine is all made up of family. Very good foot print for service in the OH area.

Cons

Greed has surfaced and company no longer wants to service the little guy. But what they forget is it was all those little guy companies that put them on the map in the first place. As they have grown they now treat their employees very poorly. Again many have helped this company grow and have now been forgotten. Sales people are treated as the bottom feeders. In fact the company as a whole has been taught to treat the sales folks as an outsider. Hard to get things done.

Pros

Good pay, steady work with an established company. Most equipment is newer and assigned. Ability to operate safe trucks legally. No pressure from dispatch that the load has to go regardless of hours available

Cons

Health benefits could be better and fully paid by company. Vacation time could be more liberal. In all a good place to work once you have some time in
