      Pros

      There were Plenty of hours, the company valued its employees, and had a clean work environment. The leadership skills from head of operations to quality control was outstanding.

      Cons

      During the busy season there were way to many hours. For those with families this made it difficult to spend time with them. Without overtime the salary paid wasn't worth working there.

      I've been in the mailing industry for 20+ years and have grown with a lot of the changes in the postal industry.

      Pros

      Done many positions from material handling to production manager (8 yrs) in the industry. Held a chair on postal committee for 3 year period and stayed up with a lot of postal codes in processing mail correctly as well as QC of proper paperwork to post office for best possible customer savings in postage. Done a lot of tech work on mailroom machinery through the years as well as a very good repore with postal employees in getting mail properly processed and distributed on time as deemed by the customer with minimal to no problems over the span of my career in the field.

      Cons

      Pay attention to possible problems within the structure of the company and point them out causing lots of animosity towards myself as well as let companies know of better fits and processes to help company growth instead of years service to company from individual. Do work well with individuals but not there to babysit

      Pros

      The management in the Premedia Technologies department were always very supportive. Human resources were always very helpful and always available for guidance.

      Cons

      I felt quite often "left out" for discussions regarding the status of department. As professionals, it is important that we have a firm understanding of what is expected of us proactively and not "after the fact." However, this can be said about a lot of corporate hierarchies. Additionally, the use of positive reinforcement i.e. Awards of Excellence or such would go a long way to motivate the organization and it's employees.
