Pros

Don't drink the corporate kool-aid. There are not many Pros to speak of. - There are some opportunities, though limited. - The experience gained is OK, but questionable when trying to move on elsewhere.

Cons

This company's ethics and integrity is questionable at best. It is all about the bottom line, and could care less about the people that work to keep the lights on. Working here, you will feel under valued, overworked, and generally disrespected. It's really not worth your time to work here. - Pay is very low, far below average - No raises - Benefits are basically non-existent. * Health insurance is expensive with awful coverage. Costs increase yearly (it's like an annual pay cut). * 401k portfolio options are terrible; no matching. * Recently, a California law requires employers to provide 3 paid sick days to employees. Instead of adding 3 sick days to your benefits, this company decided to replace 3 holidays with the 3 required sick days instead. They're taking away your benefits, to give you state mandated benefits. SHADY and CHEAP! - If you're lucky the management may give you a promotion accompanied with a small raise, and calls it a big, generous reward for your hard work. In reality, you can look outside of the company for a promotion, and a HUGE annual pay bump instead. - Your regular work day is 9-10 hours per day. If you are working 8 hours only you are considered lazy and uncommitted to the company. - Mentally abusive; employees are conditioned to believe that the little pay received is generous and appropriate for the quality and quantity of work, and that you would be looking for "miracles" if you asked for anything more. On one hand, they will tell you you are doing great. On the other, they say that you need to work harder and do a better job. They want you to believe that you don't have any options and that you have to stay there working for them, at massive discount (low pay). - There is no career development as there are no performance reviews. Asking for relevant training is like pulling teeth. - Little to no recognition - Employee turnover is high - Ethics is questionable at best. I wonder often how this company passes audits.
