      Opportunities for corporate growth in a high-risk transition

      Pros

      The company is at a transition point as it seeks to move away from a print-focused business to one more oriented to service and technology in an internet world. There are opportunities for smart and flexible people who can help the company adapt.

      Cons

      Compensation is low to average, raises are cost-of-living at best. No 401K matching, poor health benefits. RRD treats people as a cost center.

      Very knowledgeable and dedicated workforce Excellent use of technology Flexible with work/life balance

      Cons

      Leadership has no clear direction and does not share information with employees Benefits are awful !! I was with RRD for over 15 years and watched them go from being world class to very high priced insurance and taking away all 401K matching, educational assistance, lower life insurance coverage, stopped pension plan, you name it they take it away. Bonuses are non existent Merit Pay increased have been 1% across the board for the past couple years and never seem to go over 2.5% at anytime. No advancement. Unless you are "buddy buddy" with upper management you will not advance.

      Pros

      Nice work/life balance. Great community involvement. Good Management. They are moving in the right direction with the changes in the print industry.

      Cons

      Not a lot of opportunity for advancement. Decrease in benefits. Sporadic on bonus and raises.
