      Position is worked independently from direct report, as a shared service in a local plant (if you are a strong independent decision maker, this is fantastic). Team of Regional Sourcing leaders worked together collaboratively on a regular basis.

      Cons

      Local plant did not support the shared service buyer platform, so it was challenging to bring value to the plant. No office supplies for the corporate employees at the plant. Benefits were not very good.
