      Struggling before and after break-up

      Pros

      Large company with wide variety of service and manufacturing offerings. Intent of company break-up was to better focus on individual market offerings - the intent was good but execution poor.

      Cons

      Bigger isn't always better. This is an old school company bogged down by "traditional" ways of thinking. Not nimble. Break-up has left company struggling.

      Plant management had a desire to fix the problems

      Cons

      Lack of understanding that their greatest asset was their employees. The Christmas email from the President told us that they would be discontinuing the 401K match. Nice timing. Wouldn't even spend the money to fix the leaks in the roof.
