Pros

*Autonomy - I can come and go as I wish *Stock price is certainly affordable at $1.71 *Extremely easy to predict what this company will do on a daily and long term basis.

Cons

*Senior management cares only about the numbers, to the point that it clouds their ability to make solid long term business decisions that will work in the long run. It’s always about getting the financials turned around now...regardless of the mid to long term impact of those actions. Results speak for themselves. *RRD is great at 2 things...closing plants to realize consolidation savings on paper, and taking other risky cost-out actions *No 401k match *The cost of health insurance to the employees is much higher than many other companies for similar benefits. Don’t let their talk track about rising industry health insurance costs fool you. I’m currently interviewing with lots of companies and most of them, even smaller ones, are more affordable. And that is because other companies pay for a greater percentage of it in order to attract better talent. Sometimes the grass IS greener on the other side. *We have one executive leader who brags with pride about RRD being his only employer, and RRD being his dads only employer. And people wonder why RRD lacks vision and keeps applying the same failed approach to business and getting the same flawed results...This exec has a history of disrespectful, nearly abusive verbal treatment of subordinates. His example is being followed at diluted levels by several of his leaders who report to him. Shameful. *Hey, you may think I’m just a sour grapes employee with an attitude issue who wants to get out, but don’t listen to me. Take a look at the investor lawsuits against the BOD for breech of fiduciary responsibility after the spin-off. And take a look at the stock for the past 3 years. Now compare RRD stock trending to the overall market trend for the same period. *We are losing talent at almost exponential rates, making it harder and harder to delight our customers, and lowering the job satisfaction of the remaining employees who have to add that work to their already bloated responsibilities.

Pros

Nice offices, hours can be somewhat normal

Cons

The majority of companies now a days offer 3 weeks vacation (federal holidays are separate) and a weeks sick leave, it's just shocking to see how this company offers 2 weeks vacation after 6 months but NO SICK DAYS.. how is this even legal? Something is amiss. If you value your employees, treat them well..

Pros

Company paid training, fun office culture at times, good early exposure . I learned alot in my sales role in regards to how difficult it can be selling a commoditized product. I did most of it all on my own and sold some accounts..this was a good fight but one I couldnt keep up

Cons

The print industry is dieing and rrd although being the biggest and best shop around is going down with it. The sales personal who run the largest accounts are dinosaurs that will not help you at all with your book of business. I was 1 of 45 new associates in my class...90% of those individuals have since left the company in under 2 years so turnover is very high... the company culture is old white guys who like to drink and talk trash and who are stuck in the past...they just inherit accounts and manage existing business ...I would say join the company if your new to industry but that would be poor guidance because this industry is unique in that its drying up fast the stock is down 66% year over year and 96% in the last 3 years
