Pros

-As mentioned many times before, opportunities for career progression exist especially for younger staff -Head of Talent/Recruitment is great and there are some great VP's and potential leaders -Co-workers are hard-working and high energy -Rec cycle business model is sustainable for the time being but impact of reform and thinning of overall margins may change this -Compensation is good/slightly above average -Philanthropy and community involvement opportunities (golf, volunteer, etc) for co-worker social interaction

Cons

-Career advancement and progression only occur with the support of competent managers, mentors, and HR (which is non-existent at Accretive; most HR staff have no prior experience. Even the head of HR is constantly putting out fires instead of implementing talent and performance management or workforce planning -Recruiters have bad reputation and are known for being lazy in the industry and by peers. -Cherry picking of favorite employees and burn/churn of younger, cheaper staff (high turnover) -Many junior level employees are scared/intimidated of management -Intimidation by CEO (and family members/employees) and some of the VP's; unprofessional environment at times -Nepotism prevalent (fairly high percentage of employees with ties to CEO) -Does not always practice what it preaches and much disconnect throughout the company re: initiatives/progress/direction; still no protocol/procedure although claims to be a process-oriented company and reinventing of the wheel -Questionable ethics within leadership team -Official communication low, unofficial communication/gossip high

Pros

The Management Team's skill level, involvement in day-to-day operations and laser-focus on results with employees and clients is uncanny. I now work for another major consulting firm and the overall intelligence, energy and drive to achieve results of the management team, consultants and operators and organizational and corporate staff is hands down at a higher level than most of the big firms. The Revenuce Cycle specific, subject matter expertise that I gained while working at AH as well as the block and tackle business management skills have given me a clear and measurable edge on projects and with teams since I have left. I highly reccomend AH as a place to work to anyone who has inquired with me.

Cons

The one area where I saw room for improvement from an employee perspective was around corporate infrastructure. Most of this is attributed to AH being a start-up when I was there and not public, and that is expected.

Pros

If you have an idea and it makes sense and it impacts revenue and adding value to clients-there is opportunity to implement your idea.

Cons

As we grow, internal communication becomes a challenge. I would like to see us evolve into more of a streamlined approach.
