Pros

RAC is a great place to work, the people across all Business areas get on so well, if you need help for example all colleagues are there to help you. You are absolutley trusted to get on and do your job but offered support along the way. When you do something above what’s expected you will always be recognised as a #orangehero.

Cons

Can be very fast paced at times but that just gives you drive and motivation to keep going and get the job done.

Free hot drink when given bad news.

7 years of tenure and 2 pay cuts later, I have to say this company treats their staff like modern day slaves. And they do not treat their members any better by driving prices up every year! No thanks for tenure. Bonus slashed by 50% and basic wage put down by 30% for some. Basic wage may be higher than other call centers but I can guarantee you, you will be better appreciated as a human being by other organisations. If you would to relive your high school days and be treated like a mindless teenager then this job is definitely for you.
