Pros

RAND provides opportunities for everyone to seek out the projects that are of most interest to them. You can take the initiative to work on research you believe is important.

Cons

RAND is not a place for those seeking a hierarchical structure and firm directions on what you'll work on. Instead, those comfortable with some uncertainty and are curious self-starters will do well.

Pros

Its a wonderful job if you are open to working with people of various backgrounds and are passionate about what you are doing. Personally I found it to be very rewarding. The training was extremely challenging but worth it. You pretty much are working out of your home but in constant communication with your supervisor who are always more than willing to help you when needed.

Cons

None. I look forward to working with this company again!
