Pros

-Can work 100% remote, though there is a slight hiring preference to be able to commute to one of the sites -Flexible hours -Ability to work across different branches on a variety of topic matters (e.g., national security, homelessness, K-12 education)

Cons

-Many projects that are evaluation based are essentially consulting, but at a lower pay -No ability to move from RA to analyst-level without another degree -Matrix system and PPTs make it stressful to find coverage esp. since latest company All-hands suggests employees should charge less to overhead. -No effective job board that lists all projects that are recruiting staff
