Pros

Lot's of room for growth within the company. They like to bump people up the ladder fairly quickly if you show the right initiative.

Cons

At my division they wouldn't hire another CNC programmer to take over when they let the last one go, so me and a couple other engineers had to take over the role, which put a lot of the shop floor guys in a bad mood because that was a position they would like to have been considered for.

Pros

Good support staff and very knowledgeable individuals from which you can learn from. The management team does empower you to do what's right and get the job done.

Cons

Production personnel can be difficult to work with, in most cases it is simply because they are not very bright and believe in the old motto this is how we have always done things. Also, when they use the term competitive benefits package they are flat out lying to you about that. It was the most expensive and worst insurance I have ever had. Also, don't expect much from the human resource department, they don't have a clue.
