Pros

- Really good benefits (RRSP matching, Health/Dental, 4 weeks vacation etc..) - Good work life balance. This depends of the department though. - Lots of opportunities to explore internally.

Cons

- Base salary is pretty low compared to industry standards for a Data Engineer - Lots of red tape. Getting tools onboarded or access to data can take months. By then, the value of your solution is sometimes diminished.
