Pros

Excellent benefits, vacation and yearly bonuses. Contributions to retirement and savings for employees. Very performance based. Better performance = better opportunities and moving around Friendly and very supportive atmosphere. The most positive workplace I've been to. Very strong trust and support in the role, meaning the advisor is able to make decisions to support clients. Very good 0 harassment tolerance where we have the right to disconnect rude clients. Weekly meetings with manager, coach and team to ensure continual support and progress in your role, also keeps everyone in the loop on new information. Long term employees continue to talk positively and have positive outlook on the company.

Cons

Most new staff start in the advice centre. The advice centre is extremely overwhelming and training doesn't really prepare you for the stress of the role. Breaks are solid, unmovable and difficult to get exactly on time due to calls. 4 seconds between calls. One single breath. Career progression is possible but you must master the advice centre first which is heavily based on advice per day which is not everyone's strength. There is so much to read about, learn and understand daily you could get caught up in "taking your work home with you" unless you exercise your own boundaries with work/home life but that will slow your progress because it will take longer to learn something. 20 minutes a week for the above reading and learning. I can barely open the document before it's over.
