Pros
You get to form good last friendship with coworkers. You get 3 days off and work 4 days. Really good supervisors
Cons
upon your 10 scheduled hours, you get an additional 2 hr mandate that the company can keep give you a job up to the last min of these two hrs. It does not include your drive back to the base so you can end up working between 10-16 hours for the day. Dispatch does not care what time you are scheduled to get off. They will send you to the Bronx before your time off even though you are at the Brooklyn or Far Rockaway base. The company used to be good at one point but with the new CEO it appeared to have gone downhill. Their concern right now just seem to be about taking money from employees (they used to give $1 raise after a year of employment but now they are trying to raise 25cents after a year which is ridiculous.) Not the best company (anymore) but not the worst.
