Pros

Cons

Company management seems to live in LA-LA land. Much positivity, no reality. While the company did have some explosive growth over the years, that growth has come to a standstill and is now reversing As salespeople we are taught to be not truthful with clients and tell them what they need to hear to sell them the RDI membership. But not not necessarily what is truth and reality. RDI offers no benefits and purposely keeps their staff to under 50 so they are not required to pay medical and other benefits to employees. Wages are below the industry standard. Co workers are sleazy sales people who have worked at questionable, if not blatantly unethical companies in the past which have been shut down.

Pros

The other employees make it worth staying, shout out to you all. If you are looking for a job that is lenient, some pros are you can smoke whenever you please, conversation on the floor like its high school, they blare music all day long almost like it is high school, you can leave early and chances are the lousy management will never catch you. Get it with the right management and you will be able to do whatever you want. Literally.

Cons

Let's start off with the many bed bugs at RDI. YES I said bed bugs, they refuse to shut that place down for a day or take down those nasty cubicles. I have witnessed them with my own eyes. (Nasty) Management is under qualified and very young. They will not be any help work related, but hey, if you are looking for weed or prescription drugs they are right there. You can get "moved up" but don't get excited, you will be thrown back on the phones next week and they will not care. Don't even get me started on the time issue, your checks will ALWAYS be shorted, and yes I mean always. HR is a joke, "safe zone" is a LIE, don't trust the up front office as far as you can throw them unless you want your business all over the center. I could go and on but some of which you just have to see for yourself once you get inside that place.
