Pros

½ Day Fridays, Weekends off.

Cons

Managers claim to be on the same page, but all of them have completely different answers. If you are one who speaks their mind rather than falls in line, you are targeted, and watched very closely for any reason to be written up. All managers including top tier site managers are uneducated. They consider spending more than 5 minutes in the bathroom a "unauthorized break." Constantly changing the metrics required to meet commission based bonus, their attendance policy is worse than elementary school. Forget being sick, even with a doctors note you are disqualified from your bonus.

Pros

The Co workers are the most enjoyable aspect. Working for the GE Division gives you the sense of being a part of something larger. Structured, scheduled hours are a plus.

Cons

Pay is an absolute joke. Time tracking system is constantly WRONG, and you aren't paid your hours. Regardless as to job titles, the B2B center is a call center atmosphere and treated as such, with nothing to do with sales. Team leads are promoted far to quickly, though they may have seniority, are clearly power hungry at that point, and have no clear knowledge on how business works. Being hired for B2B Sales means to SELL...not to be narrow and closed minded about how only "your" process works.

Pros

they hire you without hesitation

Cons

-you dont get paid for the hours you work! -you get treated poorly by management, teamleads, etc. -the attendance policy is worse than that of a high school -no one in the company is willing to work with you if you need something signed or something proving you actually work there. -there are very few opportunities for advancement there have been people stuck selling on the phones for 15+ years and never offered an opportunity to advance but if there is an opportunity some very young person who is willing to suck up and may not even know anything about the program/product they are supposed to be looking over will get it! -the benefits are worse than what Mcdonald's employees receive -i was pregnant and very sick during my pregnancy and even with doctors notes they suspended me and threatened to fire me there is no leniency what so ever when it comes to medical issues -a female that i had worked with was found in the bathroom with a needle in her arm and was high nearly everyday but managed to keep her job while another female i worked with who had 3 kids had to miss several days while her son was in the hospital after a car accident and she was fired for "occurrences" -there have been more than 10 car break ins in the parking lot and the company did nothing about it yet they still refuse to let you have personal belongings on the premises and will make you take anything personal out to your car. -i was shorted over 28 hours on a check and they only paid me for 12 of those hours after multiple attempts to get the mistake corrected they said that it was my fault and they were not going to add any more hours to my check the program they use to keep track of employee hours has been broken for years and instead of spending the money to fix it i have a feeling they are making more profit off of it being broken and shorting hours than they would if it were fixed. needless to say you would be doing yourself a favor to steer clear of this company and if you do become employed by them have very little expectations and keep looking for a better job from the moment you start! I quit RDI not long ago and it was the best decision i have made in a long time.
