Pros

work at your own pace, meet the deadlines. No manager breathing down your neck. Jobs are plentiful. Lots of travel, if you want. Equipment is furnished, receive a small mileage reimbursement, and receive minimum pay for hours traveled.

Cons

Cannot keep DCs working. Pay is extremely low compared to other data collection agencies. Overworked, underpaid, too many deadlines in too short a time frame. Too much to do in four days without being late. CSMs do not remove late jobs as they are supposed to so it keeps the DCs from getting quarterly bonuses. Undercover jobs that do not pay good but have to be done. DCs have to spend money out of their pockets for the undercover jobs so it looks like we are customers. No appreciation from the home office. Equipment is shotty.

Pros

i really enjoyed seeing the country on the travel team, my district manager was awesome. they hooked me up with a rental car when my car broke down and for any trips i would be driving to and staying out of town for. i like not having a manger breathing down my neck.

Cons

being sent to extremely dangerous stores undercover, i was removed from all of the jobs i liked and kept on the job i was threatened in after i said i couldn't' do it anymore. Minimum wage for a job like this is a complete slap in the face. it is extremely isolating not being able to talk to people in a store because you're undercover. being out of state on undercover jobs, i didn't speak to anyone other than hotel staff, people at the airport or people at fast food places. traveling and being reimbursed for food after the fact was also a struggle. one of the last jobs i had, i ended up surviving on a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter and 2 bananas for 3 days until my hub got paid (there was a snafu with his paycheck). they do give you up to $35 a day for food but you won't get that back until after you turn in the receipts which can sometimes be damaged or the cashier simply forgets to give you one...

Pros

Flexible schedule decent pay for the work completed. I make on average 14 per hr my regular job pays .14 per piece and I do about 100 items per hr so I do okay sometimes a little more. Other jobs pay 10 or 6 cents per piece but those are a lot faster I average about 300 items per hr on those so really the job does pay a decent wage per hr but if your not getting even ten hrs a week that money just isn't going to do a lot for you 😕 I am usually only working about 6 or 7 hrs at 14 not so great if I could just have 15-20 hrs a week this job would be my dream job

Cons

Not enough work to go around not sure why they hire more people
