Pros

Only pro is flexible hours, but even this has it's limits.

Cons

Company has cut our pay rate twice over last 6 years. Never once have they offered any type of incentive, like pay raises! If you are really fast and accurate, you can earn bonuses every quarter....$50, $150 and $500 (only given to top 10 people). And when the new pay CUT goes into effect, they are even eliminating the $50 bonuses! Big deal, they weren't much anyway. Management is not supportive of our needs. They only care about getting the jobs done as quickly as possible, and as cheaply as possible. They provide us occasionally with new updated equipment, saying these items will make us much faster, then cut out pay.....probably to help pay for the equipment! Some jobs are so much harder (lapel work especially), and they don't compensate fairly for this, in fact, this is the area that keeps getting the worse cuts. Tools provided are poorly organized which makes our job much harder to do. There is so much more, but I would be writing a book! I would like to say one more thing. I was shocked to find out that new hires in Canada start at $15/hr......here in the US we were only paid $8/hr training rate!! (comment in a previous review I read) Is that fair business practice?

Pros

You can have the ability to Work your own hours/flexibility

Cons

My advice is that the only PRO I can come up does not compare with many many Cons. You can work here if you like working and never getting a raise, working for free in many ways, no appreciation, long hours, pay cuts consistently to your salary, lower than Federal requirement for mileage reimbursement. There are just too many to list here but this will give the basic "mission statement" for this company.

Pros

The pros used to be the flexibility...but that is gone.

Cons

I have been here for over ten years. Recently we were notified (via email) that our pay will be cut...in half. I have worked very hard for this company and my reward....A PAYCUT by half! They are trying to get us to believe that we will be making more money....in reality, it's a PAY CUT. Their reasoning...."better, faster equipment" so more time to do more jobs. The jobs will still take the same amount of time, but our piece rate will be half of what we were making on the same job. This is an inaccurate statement as the equipment is slow, freezes and forces you to reset it a lot. We spend our uncompensated time on the phone with field support (if you can get them on the phone) trying to resolve equipment issues, read emails, print schedules and job collection criteria. Not to mention the gas pay is very low compared to the prices we pay here in California. There are no raises, no room for advancements and NO respect for their employees. Retail Data used to be a great company to work for and I was proud to work for them....not anymore.
