Pros

Great people to work with. Solid discounts on gear.

Cons

Membership sales are priority for the organization. It often reflects your ability to get promotions. There are often company social initiatives that take priority over their current employees. The organizations social posturing is meant to disguise their true intentions. Sales, Sales, Sales. Which should be obvious for a retail business, however it can be hard to drink the Kool-Aid at times, and then ask your team to drink it as well.
