The people are amazing, the benefits are great, prodeals are incredible, and company mission is something beautiful to get behind

Becoming a large corporation is straining traditional REI culture, which is a core pillar of REI's offering.

Pros

- Great co-workers - Employee Discounts - Flexible scheduling

Cons

- Senior management is obsessed with membership sales above all. You will be talked to like you're five until you step in line. - Obligatory credit card pitch for cashiers. - Lots of leftist propaganda. - Profit over people. - Fake - The company has devolved from a mom-'n-pop shop into a corporate empire touting its evolving values for profit.
