Pros

Fun, great team. Management very involved and present.

Cons

Not really any cons that I can think of besides that you have to pay about $12 a month for parking.

Pros

Fun people to work with, generally nice customers, variety of tasks to do, good health insurance and vacation pay accrual rate after a few years.

Cons

I could probably count on my hands the number of 40 hour weeks I was scheduled in the past year. Required to work at least one weekend day every week. Internal messaging that feels like lip service coupled with an extreme lack of development opportunities has resulted in half a dozen employees under age 40 leaving my location in the past few months, myself included.

Pros

Pretty flexible schedule if you need to ask for time off, prodeals and discounts, good benefits, fun work atmosphere, good for a temporary amount of time.

Cons

The pay was not great, especially for how expensive Bend is to live (I was there 2021-2022). Also REI as a whole I don't think they are as ethical as they make themselves out to be.
