Pros

The IT team is outstanding

Cons

Over the past four years, I reported to six different managers, leading to a lack of stability and clear direction. The current management structure seems designed to dismantle the IT department — our team shrank from seven members down to two. This raises concerns that the company may either be struggling financially or preparing for a sale. Nearly all senior IT talent has left, further eroding institutional knowledge and team morale.

Pros

Benefits were good, salary was fair at the start, enjoyable work culture before going public.

Cons

No work/life balance. Antiquated risk systems, lack of leadership and a manager that had a “look at me” complex.
