      A middle of the road shop

      Pros

      People come and go at this shop. Nobody around me at a mid- to senior level who has been around for longer than 3-4 yrs except for the owners and their busboys / gals. It encourages one to become a Snoopy the brown nosed puppy to the company mandarins to secure position.

      Cons

      The rank and file is friendly, helpful, and outright cheerful. It feels like fam. Large, dysfunctional, unstable fam.

As an ESOP, employees meeting the Plan’s eligibility requirements are all considered employee owners. It's true the A/E industry is dynamic, and changes often lead to movement. The average turnover rate in our industry is a little over 14%. While we strive to have a lower turnover rate than the industry average, we understand a certain level of turnover is inevitable; therefore, we set realistic goals that are in line with industry standards. We are proud to share that the average tenure for RETTEW employee-owners is currently 9.2 years, which speaks to our commitment to long-term employee satisfaction and growth. RETTEW is committed to providing a stable and supportive work environment and culture. This why a team of employee-owners is currently working on our retention strategies, including providing professional development opportunities to ensure our talented employees like you see a long-term future with us.       Fantastic Onboarding, Great Company & Culture

      - Working at an ESOP means employees are deeply invested in the company's success and leadership is committed to employee engagement and transparent communication. The "ownership culture" is really energizing, and the company is dedicated to the success of the employees. - My orientation and onboarding were extremely efficient, and my colleagues offered (and continue to offer) robust support to assist with my transition and ongoing success. Additionally, the company actively seeks feedback to refine the onboarding experience. - This is a very employee-centric company that values and recognizes the contributions of employees in various unique ways. - There are impressive retention rates here; many of the employees I've met have worked for this company for 10+ years, and several have been here for 30+ years. This is due in part to the company's proactive approach toward career development and providing opportunities for advancement. - high retention; most of the people I've met have been here 10+ years and counting - Competitive benefits and pay package with hybrid/remote work opportunities. - The company prioritizes safety, quality, and DEI and those are ingrained into the cultural fabric. In my 20+ year career working at corporations and startups, small and mid-size, hybrid, remote and in-person, this has been the most positive, supportive, and productive work environment I've experienced. I am thrilled with my role and grateful for the opportunity to join this company.
