Pros

Revgen is a great place to start a career in software sales. Don't get me wrong it is a grind for 4-5 months but the experience and knowledge you gain is going to give you a leg up on the competition when applying to your next job. When I was interviewing for my next role all of the people I interviewed with knew about revgen and what it takes to graduation. My manager Joe Lally was awesome and I couldn't have asked for a better mentor.

Cons

None I highly recommend going through the program if you want to get into sales.

Pros

-Revgen will 100% get your hands dirty in the sense of cold calling and attempting to generating leads. -The fellow new hires are generally cool and will become long term friends / people to confide in

Cons

-Closes way to describe Revgen, is being a cult. They prey on young adults whom are coming from a low paying industry, promising that they will teach them the skills of sales and help land a job afterwards that are super profitable. -The jobs that are landed after revgen are average to below average (generally are already contracted with Revgen. -For 80 hours of work you are only making $1,050 (not including commission) -Depending on campaign, commission is only $25-60 max. -Some campaigns are easier than others; moreover, the target goals for some campaigns are unrealistic. If you don't hit goal, you do not graduate; therefore, cutting your time short. -There are a FEW managers that will try to help you succeed. -Salesloft leads are absolutely terrible; however, they tell you to keep calling leads that have been touched more than 15x in a month

Closest* Absolutely absurd to post this information as fact and we would highly recommend Glassdoor remove this post. There are so many inaccurate statements here. Regarding compensation of our graduates, we have stats proving that SUCCESSFUL reps at REVGEN are making a 25%-30% higher base salary than those who did not graduate. If you are someone who wasn't able to complete the program then this review would make sense being that you were unable to see those offer letters. Regarding missing goal, we have programs in place that give reps a fair shot at graduation even if they were to miss goal for a month as well as backup protocol to grade performance and effort. Regarding pay and commission structure, for monthly pay, this review has referenced a bi-weekly payment of half a month’s pay after taxes. For commission, it seems like you are referencing a per appointment rate rather than a full month at quota. For leads, Salesloft is a CRM tool not a lead provider… We sincerely wish any future employer of this individual the best of luck.

Pros

- Face pace environment allowing a rep to grow quickly & be placed with a top sales company after four months - Dedicated managers that truly want nothing but success for a rep & their future - Great remote experience - never felt disconnected from reps in office

Cons

- Some days can be intense but keeping the mindset that the tenure is temporary with a great role in the future helped a ton
