      Pros

      The company is mission-driven and values-based. Many say with confidence it's the best place they've ever worked. People work hard but take a balanced approach.

      Cons

      Since the company is growing so quickly, some of the training at startup is not as formalized as you might expect. This varies by department given the length of time they've been around. The more established departments have more clearly defined processes for training and onboarding.

      Pros

      RF-SMART does a great job continually trying to improve employee experience while maintaining consistent growth and profitability. Weekly one to one meetings with manager provide continuous feedback and the opportunity for growth of both self and the company. Flexibility and concern for employee wellbeing during COVID has been wonderful. Truly caring and capable employees. I've only witnessed integrity and a constant effort to do what's right for the customer; sometimes to a fault. Love the transparency with financials and company outlook.

      Cons

      Still very old school maintality with respect to how projects and teams are managed. Although there is a desire to empower and experiment, still way too much micromanagement in terms of timetracking and use of new technologies. Old technologies that should have sunset years ago are still being developed for fear of trying something new and maybe failing. US timeoff accrual is low to average compared to other software companies. Average employee match for retirement.
