RGIS says that your schedule will and can be flexible and can accommodate with college courses. However, be prepared to be scheduled for ANY time of the day, morning, evening and nights. It's nothing to be scheduled for 2 or 3 inventories a day with at least 1 out of the 3 scheduled inventories lasting for 6 hours without a break. (unless you actually have a supervisor that allows you a 5-7 min break) Be prepared to drive and travel excessively for this job. They do pay you mileage and you have to keep track of this, but expect the "higher ups" to pay you less and then once you confront them about it, be prepared for an argument. Also, be prepared to travel outside of your teams area to help other teams. My example being, one time in particular, my time had to drive 4 hours to a different state to help another team, we ended up being there for only 3 hours and having to drive another 4 hours home... Ridiculous! I do NOT recommend that you sign up to be a team driver; they say you can use the company van but I worked there for a year and a half and we NEVER used the company van. The company van was always "conveniently unavailable". Your car will suffer, so will wallet from purchasing tires, oil changes and overall maintenance. Consider yourself forewarned: if you get off at 2:00am from a job, you may be scheduled to be at another one at 8:00am. They get by with this because some of the inventory jobs do not last more than 8 hours, so in the state of NC (I'm not sure about anywhere else) it's still legal for employees to report back to work with such little time in between jobs. Do NOT expect to advance with this company. They will hype it up to you while you're in training that they promote from within, but do not believe it... unless you "butter up" your supervisor a lot and "hang" with them outside of work. Many of your co-workers will be younger (18-23) and if you're having any problems with co-workers, do not expect anything to be done about it. Management could care less. Lastly, expect the "higher ups" to treat you like dirt, they're arrogant and rude. If you decide to work for this company in Mint Hill, NC... give it 2 days, you'll catch on fast. Take my advice!
