Pros

We got free lunch on fridays and they took us to top golf once.

Cons

I was hired on a 3 month contract-to-hire basis as a designer for this company. Everyone in customer service, sales, and marketing were very nice to me and were equally appalled when I was very suddenly laid off 6 months later with no warning. Vijay is nearly impossible to work with, randomly changes his mind with no rhyme or reason and doesn't keep anyone else in the loop. He is equal parts erratic micromanager, equal parts silent distant figurehead. He was consistently patronizing and rude to me with a smile on his face, hardly ever followed through on things. It was clear that this guy had never worked with a designer before. It was also clear that he didn't know what a UX designer actually does before he randomly decided to hire one and proceeded to refuse to allow me to do UX work, and not taking me seriously when I suggested user testing and research until the very last minute. Every single person in the company was stressed out by this guy because he creates an impossible environment. We were always talking about what an uphill battle it was there. Management did not really seem to care about what was best for the users. I had just about finished the first round of user testing and usability when I was laid off by HR. Vijay had been dancing around the subject of my promised full-time with health benefits position ever since I reached the 3 month mark and kept refusing to engage about the topic. I now understood why. I was promised a huge raise as well, I assume as bait to get me interested in the position and to keep me coming. Then when I started asking about it too much, they let me go. I could write so much more, but this company needs a serious leadership overhaul and attitude adjustment. Proceed with caution.
