      Great work/life balance, fun environment to be a part of, interaction with students is most rewarding part of the job

      Cons

      Below average salaries for staff, there's a definite divide between faculty/administration and staff. PhD students get more financial benefits than the staff that support them!

      Tuition benefits, chance to work with the few remaining students who care

      Cons

      Rit has been going downhill for years, administration is completely misguided, managers specifically in this department are discriminatory and retaliatory.

      - Great community within certain departments/teams - Flexible work arrangements possible - Tuition benefits, decent healthcare

      Cons

      - Tuition benefit is useless if you already have degree(s) but they will keep telling you how nice of a benefit it is - Very low pay & difficult to get raises - HR is a black hole - Career progression is murky and confusing at best - Staff members needs taken less seriously than faculty - Work/life balance depends on how many people were cut or left from your team and never replaced - Lots of turnover for above reasons
