Pros

Basic Healthcare/Dental, could be better considering this is a multimillion dollar company. Seems like an OKAY work place if you get in with the right team with the proper manager. Pay is still iffy, even stated by managers who have worked there for YEARS. Office building is clean and nice.

Cons

The ITT team I was on is failing due to the following; high turnover rate, favoritism, difficulty in recruiting, high absenteeism, gossiping, manipulation, very reliant on employees' self-management, unavailable in times of need, and hard to talk to in times of need, exposed private information about previous employees and current employees within the team, frequently blame others for shortcomings. A very sketchy/shifty manager that no one seems to be able to see through. Attempted to manipulate me into working with another team I clearly would not fit in with so they didn't have to fire me, because if they did fire me, it would be bad on their behalf since they had difficulty within the last few years holding anyone down. ( see above as to why ) I attempted to explain I needed more training to meet the requirements that were expected of me, yet never got trained even though I was promised, then got quite fired only two-three weeks after asking for more training. (Quiet firing - Quiet firing describes how managers fail to adequately provide coaching, support, and career development to an employee, which results in pushing the employee out of an organization. This is precisely what happened to me.) Essentially the entire plot to push me off onto another team they knew I wouldn’t enjoy instead of outright firing me was gross and left a bad taste in my mouth about RJ Young. Then proceeding to block not only me but my family members on social media, completely personal and unprofessional. HIGHLY lacking diversity. The pay is not great. It's okay at best. I've worked service jobs that pay much higher. All in all, RJY seems like a lovely place to work if you're placed in the proper team with the proper manager. Sadly, from what I've seen, there are only a few of them. *Also, the “we’re like a family” vibe should be a red flag on its own.
