Pros
RJ Young is a family owned business that encourages professional and personal success. Sure, they're in business to make money, but they reinvest in the company, employees, and their communities. They encourage employees to participate in company and sponsored events; give back to communities by allowing employees time to volunteer and/or making donations on employee's behalf; participate with programs like Make a Wish, Toys for Tots, and other non-profits; encourage and reward employees for health improvement activities like weight loss and stopping tobacco use. Plus, they offer profit sharing bonuses to the employees.
Cons
As with many growing companies, they're expanding faster that staffing capabilities. They've expanded their footprint very rapidly over the past year with goals to expand more and appears to be under staffed in some departments which causes some productivity issues with internal processes. This is not significant, but can cause order processing and issue resolution to take more time than in the past.
