      Pros

      The family/ team atmosphere that exists in all departments RJY is a company where the employees are treated as co-owners by the way the company shares the profits with the employees. The company treats all employees with respect and tries through its management training programs to train employees for leadership roles so they can advance within the company in most any direction and field. It is a privilege to work at R J Young Co It is still family owned business where all are teated as family members, the atmosphere is great. It is a growing company and a very profitable company, because of the efficiency of its leadership and employee base.

      Cons

      None that I can see. I appreciate the opportunities that I have had over the years and it was the best business decision of my life to accept employment with what I think is the best company anywhere bar none

      Pros

      This is a nurturing environment that consistently promotes from within, develops, trains and supports its own talent and has created a culture that makes the most successful business model in this industry. Many talented people have shied away from or rejected this industry because of the struggle and stress associated with being successful. RJ Young has found the business model that works without the struggle and stress by creating a culture that encourages and inspires people to do more. I've worked for a lot of companies over the span of my career and this is the first in a long, long time that gives me a real sense that I belong.

      Cons

      I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Nothing yet! It's difficult to get into this company but folks don't want to leave when they do.
